Default Things not to miss on the Triumph

For those who have sailed her, what are the best things about this ship? What should I go out of my way to see on her? By the way, is there a sushi bar on board?

I have never been on the Triumph, but I know there is a sushi bar on board.

See the stage shows, Carnival has some of the best. Go to the piano bar, everyone should have a mic (at every table) and it is a hoot.

Don't miss the disco with the glass dance floor.

Don't miss ....

Sushi bar is set up just outside of the Casino
It is only open certain evenings between 5pm - 730pm or something like that.

Art auction, free champagne

BIG screen TV on the Lido deck has movies under the stars, and shows concerts at night. pretty cool.

Piano bar is very fun

The shows are excellent

Mini golf, you pick up your golf club/golf ball at the towel station on the lido deck.

Has the Triumph been rehabed? I cruised on her in March and there was no Big Screen. I don't see on Carnivals website that she has been.

Yes she has been in drydock about 2 months ago. I hope the football games will be on the big screen TV when we board this Sunday.

GO EAGLES!

We were hoping to watch the Packer game on the big screen but they didn't have it on...they mostly played movies and concerts.

What other upgrades did she get besides the big screen?

Aren't they pretty much all the same? Maybe with the exception of the soon to be European Holiday, the old cliche' holds true. Modified of course to "if you have sailed on one fun ship you have sailed on them all".
I've sailed on the Inspiration, Legend, Valor, and Destiny all they all seem to have far more in common than they differ.
I'm scheduled to be on the Holiday and Triumph this year and I'm not anticipatiing any radical change from the previously mentioned vessels. The Holiday is going to seem cozy compared to the bigger ones, but I expect the the Triumph to be a cookie cutter version of the Destiny.
Continuity is part of the marketing appeal of Carnival, at least from my vantage point. I go on a cruise expecting the same Chocolate melted cake, water-slide, cheeky decor, gregarious crew, shows, games, cabins, and so on. I'm never dis-appointed.

What you are saying may be true but my question is coming from someone who has only cruised once before on the Fascination for 3 days. I know what to expect in terms of the general feeling of a Carnival cruise but it is my understanding that the Triumph is a much bigger ship and I assumed has other things to offer.

While I haven't been on the Fascination or Triumph, I can compare the Fantasy class ( Inspiration) to the Destiny and Conquest class ( Valor).
They are noticeable bigger. I've found that the ride seems smoother on the bigger/wider vessels. One downside is the amount of walking can be tiring. The ship layout can be somewhat confusing compared to the Fantasy class. Finding the aft dining room can be a puzzle at times.
The greatest amenity that bigger ships offer are all those balcony cabins. While there are 54 ( I think) on Fantasy class, there are 508 on the Triumph.
I enjoyed the external promenade on the Destiny and Valor which aren't on the Fantasy class ships. Also everything is bigger, from the show lounge to Lido deck.
