Default weather in the carribean next week???

should i be concerned that the forecast for the weather next wed, thurs and friday show 60% rain each day on the days i'll be in jamaica, cozumel and GC? funny, in jamaica it shows no rain the 5 days before and after we'll be there, but 60% the day were supposed to be there.

I'm hoping htere isnt really a way to know what it will do in a week...right?

Are they really that good at weather forecasting? Probably not. But take an umbrella.

Just about every time I have gone on a cruise in that part of the world there is a forcast of rain and it never has so far.

Remember when we were togtether on the Conquest? It rained harder then I have ever seen, so much so, I stayed onboardThat was Sept, and closer to the rainy season I think...I bet if you get rain, it will be like showers....on and off, then sun....

Its a bummer if it rains but usually it wont last, plus its a warm rain. Worrying about it wont help as there is nothing we can do about it. Pray to the sun gods and hope for the best. I bet it will work out...

Trip...was it just raining on you? did you have a black cloud that followed you (i have a vision of a talking cloud "rain on trip, rain on trip" hehehehe

well if it only rains as much as it did last trip i'll be happy (except for the caymans, this is the whole reason we took this part. trip again, so my little boy could swim with the stingrays

You had to have been carrying a magic umbrella. Early in the am, we thought the ship had been hit by lightning it rained so hard.....we did decide to try and get off after lunch, but when we saw all the drowned rats coming back onboard, we got out of line and went back..

Not trying to scare you but we did the western caribbean last year in February and it was like a dark cloud was following us. It didn't effect us too much except for Grand Cayman, we couldn't port because the seas were too rough. In jamaica it sort of sprinkled in the morning and the rest of the day was marvelous and in cozumel the sun was in and out. Not as nice of weather as we had hoped for during our first trip to cozumel but we still had a great time. I wouldn't trust the weatherman too much, nothing but clear skies was forecasted for us and they were wrong.
