We have a group that is going on the Legend out of Tampa. I can also say that I have never been on a cruise that I didn't like. I am just curious about the Legend. Has it been through dry dock and been refurbished? If so any idea when?
The Legend is a Spirit class ship and the Spirit class ship is one of my favorite class of ships. I have been on a Spirit class ship twice and going on another one in July. I have never been on the Legend but it is fairly new. It had is inaugural cruise in aug. of 2002. It was last in drydock in thr beginning of 2008.

The lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I cruised "Legend" just a couple of months ago, and she is GREAT. Doesn't need refitting, as she is in beautiful condition just as she is. Embarkation/Debarkation at Tampa is probably the easiest you'll find anywhere, and the entertainment, crew, food, and everything else aboard the ship is first class. No worries.
We were on the Legend in November, '08. She is a beautiful ship. Classier decor than most and very well laid out. The only problem was my DH couldn't figure out how to get to the monster slide. I think it was at the extreme aft, top deck. I never went, so am a tad vague. But, we loved the ship. Tampa is, as Ken already said, a very easy place to embark. And, we hope to do a repeat on her next year. Hubby normally hates doing the same thing over again...always looking for something new to try, but even he wants to do on the Legend again, as soon as possible. Let me know if you need more detailed info, since I don't know what you want or need to know.
