Hotel recommendation?

Anyone have a hotel in Tampa they would recommend?

My sister and I stayed on Westshore Dr...at a Bestwestern....I have stayed at the Doubletree...and the Embassy Suites...Westshore...we took a cab...cost us about $20 total....the room at the bestwestern was just a room...don't expect much for the price....they do have hotel to ship transfer...but you are on there schedule...could be waiting all day....the fair is just as much....my advice take a cab...get there before 11am....you will be able to board the ship around noon...great lunch buffet on lido deck....my husband and I are always there around 9am...nice to be one of the 1st ones on...take a cab.

Thanks much fuzie for the tips. We will look around and see what we can see. Not looking to spend too much $$ since it's just for 1 nite... I would like to get on the ship early also. How far is the port from the airport?
