Default Complimentary CruiseMates Cocktail Party

There was a bit of a "tussle" with Carnival because they wanted to our cocktail party to be a shared cocktail party with other groups onboard.

With the 160 in our group that would have made things akward and difficult for some "games". But thanks to assistance from the big guy (John, not god ) we'll be having a PRIVATE CruiseMates cocktail party.

This should make it more fun, and easier to get those comp drinks

Feb. 11 - 4 P M - 5 PM in the Forum Lounge.

REMINDER... this is the Arrrgh uably Best Cocktail Party... so we want you arriving as Pirates, and the CruiseMates ID will be necessary.

Kuki your the best---next to my husband
and John too
Not everyone shows up to the parties--even though there "free" but with such a large group -- it is nice to have something special --just for us.

Cheers

You really don't have to go to the expense of buying a log of junk and packing it.. Think bandana, camp carnival make up, perhaps an eye patch.

Or you can buy a parrot, kill it, stuff it, and screw it to your shoulder bone

TravelMike

Can I ask you where you live in Northern CA ?
I'm asking that because we live in San Jose---and my husband name is also Mike----
I'm thinking maybe a party store-- like Party America---or Party City ?

Cheers

April, Foster City. about twenty miles south of San Francisco. I usually reference Northern California or San Francisco because Foster City as a reference point does not mean anything to most people. Mike

UNLESS this happens to get changed AGAIN

The ARRRRGHHH ubbly Best CruiseMates PIrates Cocktail Party will be 2/11 from 4-5 PM in the Fourm Lounge.
--
We'll ask all the "CM Pirates" to don their "Pirate Personna" through the afternoon, and in to the dining room.

We're going to try and arrange the CM group photo shoot between cocktails and dinner.

April, you are correct. In the sixties I watched them fill in the island with the bottom of San Francisco Bay. We have lived here for thirty five years this is our second house. We looked at other areas but could not find something we liked as much. We have enjoyed watching San Jose,s growth over the past thirty years. When I was growing up in Burlingame in the 1950's the next big town south after San Francisco was Santa Barbara. San Jose was a farming town and most of the cities on the Peninsula did not exist then. Carole and I plan to visit house of humor in Redwood city. I am sure they will have some pirate stuff. We look forward to meeting you, Mike and the other Cruisemates in NOLA. Take Care, Mike

I wonder if the dress code will allow entry with the costumes some might be wearing?

With what I've seen allowed to be worn in Carnival dining rooms, you'd have to come in wearing ONLY an eyepatch to be turned away...

A very strategicly placed eyepatch at that. I won't get into how large or small an eyepatch!!!

My hair for the costume will be in my soup!
