We are cruising on the Freedom, on Feb 8, 2009........yeah it's getting close...we have cruised 2 times before, any tips or suggestions on the Freedom?

Check out the fish and chips in the Freedom Restaurant, Panorama Deck, Aft. They are very good.

Wait in line at least once for the Mongolian BBQ. Or order and wait for the calzone at the pizza station.

Serving hours for lunch seems to be getting shorter. Our trip on the Freedom was the first time I noticed it. Lunch in the dinning room on sea days 12:00 - 1:30. Buffet on the Lido deck 12:00 to 3:00. Looking at some of the Capers on line indicates this is pretty much the trend. Lunch buffets were open until 5:00 on most ships in the past.

The Fish & Chips and the Mongolian BBQ are available during buffet hours. I found the Fish & Chips to be really good. The Mongolian BBQ was done in a Wok so wasn't quite the same as traditional Mongolian.

I love lunch in the dining room. Great menu and you get a little break from the intense sun by the pool. Met some nice folks at lunch in the dining room. Bob
