Flying from Denver to Hobby airport March 6th, 2009. Cruising on the Conquest March 8th, 2009. Booked our hotel in Webster TX(Days Inn) and our rental car at Hobby airport-Galveston rental agencies are still affected by the hurricane. Rental car is for March 6th through the 8th.
March 8th when ship returns to port we have to have transportation back to Hobby to pick up rental car again as we are staying through March 20th.
My question is: after we drop off the rental car at Hobby how do we get to the pier to board ship? Take the Carnival transfer, or take a taxi/shuttle service?
We are a family of 4.
The Carnival transfers from Hobby will be $60.00 per person, so for you, times 4.....
Edited to add...is you scroll down, or go back a page or so, there is a post called...First Cruise - CONFUSED..there is additional info there, that could help.

According to one poster on the other thread, a cab would be $100.00..so $200.00 roundtrip for you all. The transfers would be $240.00. Add in the tip and you are almost up to the $240.00, but a cab may be more comfortable..Do a google search for shuttle companies that will have a mini van style ride for your comfort, and your luggage.
