Catalina Island on the Elation

I am going to be on the Elation in 12 days. Yeah!!

I was wondering if anyone has something they like to do at Catalina Island. I was at Catalina Island 6 years ago and went around the island on a golf cart. That is what I am planning on doing again, if there really isn't anything better to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nope nothing to add. I really loved going around the island in the golf cart. It was exactly what I was going to suggest. You could try the glass bottom boat I heard great things about that. Hey can you whale watch from there? I think the migration is on. Let me check.

Every year between 20,000 and 25,000 Gray Whales migrate from Alaska to Mexico to warmer breeding grounds from late December. The Gray Whales return back to Alaska from January to March which is the peak whale watching season on Catalina Island. Watch this event unfold at Catalina Ocean Rafting web."
