Hey Michelle. 13 months is a ways away. At least you have something to look forward to. I drives me crazy when I don't have something booked. Now the anticipation will drive you bonkers! I'm sure you will have a blast. I love Key West.

I am a 2nd time cruiser. First cruise was June 07' on Carnival Imagination to Key West/Calica, Mexico. This time our family has planned one on Carnival Fascination June 4, 2009 leaving from Jacksonville, FL for 4 days headed to Nassau,Bahamas & Freeport/Grand Bahama Island. Would love to get some input on things to do in the Bahamas. No we haven't booked yet but we are going. Matter of fact some relatives are paying their deposit today. So I am very excited. Plus it will be an early wedding anniversary/6 yrs. on June 28.

What do you like? Beach time, Snorkle, Adventure or maybe historical sites or party boats? What are your tastes?

We did this cruise in Jan... loved it. Take a trip with Capt. Tony on GBI:
http://www.sanddollarcruise.com/about/default.html

After the trip wander around Our Lucaya and then step over to the casino and catch a cab back to the ship.

Nassau:

Go over to Wyndham/Crystal Palace, pay a small fee and enjoy the pool/gamble a bit/rent a jet ski.
Or try Breezes (if everyone is over 14) @ $60pp for all-inclusive.
You can reserve a room at Comfort suites and get admission into Atlantis included in the price of the room:

Just booked Carnival Glory to Nassau, St. Maarten and St. Thomas on 8/1/09 includes 3 sea days. I prefer the sea days, so no problem for me. YEAH!! My teenage son and I have made it an annual tradition to cruise together in the summer.

We've got the cruise bug... and we love it!

We are on the Pride on May 10. It's Hubby and my 7th. We're taking our son and his girlfriend. They have their last finals at college on the 1st and we'll be home for summer, soooooo we're treating them to a vacation. This will be son's 5th and girlfriend's 1st. It is really cool seeing her excitement.
My husband and I are booked on an 11 night in January on the Celebrity Equinox. Our Christmas presents to each other are all taken care of. We've never been to Southern Caribbean .

The husband and I have booked our first cruise on Fascination - leaving at of Jacksonville on MAY 21.

Anyone else going??

Anyone that has been on the fascination - please email me with any suggestions. I have a question about the casino... How big is it? Can you win any big money? and how do you use cash in the casino?

Thanks in advance!

Default Carnival Inspiration - March 28th

We are booked on the Inspiration for the 28th, which goes to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. It will be 19 years (I have 8 other cruises that I have done) since I have been there, and looking forward to it.

If you know of Taxi service, tour guide (our time is limited on the cruise ship) that would take us in Cozumel to Punta Sur to see the lighthouse, and also do a nice beach, would you let me know?

If you know of a good beach that isn't far from where the ships docks, please let me know.

I am at the point where I book the ships that I like. My DW is happy as long as the weather is warm. I allways find something interesting in any port that we go to.

Just booked my first cruise on Carnival Freedom for 2/21/10...a long ways off, but it lets me pay out quarterly with my bonus money. Going to Key West, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios Jamaica. I was really excited when I booked, but now after reading some scary posts about Jamaica I am getting a little nervous.

Sailing on the Valor May 17th with stops in GC, Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. It's reunion cruise and I will be sailing with many others who haven't sailed before. I'm looking forward to having some warmer weather this time. When hubby and I sailed on the Sensation in December, it was nice but a little too cold for me (I vowed that I will only sail to the Caribbean during the warmer months from now on.)

Nothing to be nervous about. The vendors at the market can be pushy but that's how they get you to buy their souvenir and not the next guys. The best advice I can give you is stick to an excursion if your not comfortable in that environment.

It took me by surprise at first too. Now I rather enjoy it. They are good hearted people trying to make a living. I'm actually going back to Jamaica in December for a week and I can't wait.

We just booked a quickie 5 day out of Galveston on the Ecstasy going to Cozumel and Progreso (Yucatan) for Spring Break with our boys.

Then in July we are booked on the Glory for 7 days (Bahamas, St. Thomas & St. Maarten) for my husband's 50th birthday.

December is Christmas on the Triumph for 7 days as well (Belize, Roatan & Cozumel).

Getting ready to sail the Ecstasy in 28 days with the girls and the big one is the Glory October 10th Eastern Cruise!!

I can't wait Cause its my first eastern route and I can finally take my kiddo's. Every time we plan to go as a whole family it gets messed up due to vacation time at work or kids vacation, and this time we have all set!!! YAY

Default Booked yet? What ship?

I know this is not the roll call, but if anyone has booked or is booking for Carnival Inspiration, March 28th, I would like to know. Especially if you would like to get together in Cozumel and do some touring, beach, etc.

We had to cancel our July cruise but we rebooked on the Inspiration sailing out of Tampa Nov 11, 2009. That seems so far away at this point.
