Homeschool at Sea Carnival Conquest 2009

We are thinking about going on this cruise but wanted to know if anyone has gone before. This would be our first cruise and it sounds like a great opportunity but I would like to hear other's experiences (good or bad).

Is this a cruise just for homeschoolers? I'm just wondering.

I guess that there would be a lot that homeschoolers could learn on a cruise.

You will need the same discipline onboard as you do at home to get the work done.

I would recommend the Library first thing in the morning. It is usually quiet in there and you can get the work knocked out on Port Days before you leave the ship.

Things tend to get hectic when you get back from a Port....shower, dress to get ready for dinner, then shows etc....so definately get it done first thing!

One thing I would also recommend is have the kids talk with the staff and crew. These fine men and women are from all over the world and there is soooo much to learn from them!!
