Checking out the deck plan of Splendor the foreward cabins from the Lido deck up seem to be grouped as part of the Cloud 9 Spa (at least that's what I take from the pictures). What are the the advantages of this designation?

Cloud 9 spa cabinsd are on Deck 10 and 11 (Panorama and Spa). These cabins are different for the following reasons:
All non-smoking
Different decor, which includes linens, towels, SLIPPERS, and free Spa samples (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion)
Unlimited use of Thalassotheraphy pool and steam rooms (sauna is still fre for all)
Priority spa appointments
Welcome reception at embarkation with tour of spa and treatments available
These are the main features of the Spa category cabins, however, if you are UPGRADED to a Spa cabin you do NOT get the perks of the cabin with the exception of a different decor and a totally non-smoking cabin...
I've got a spa suite booked, so I am looking forward to it!!

I finally did a search on the term on the Carnival website and found some of the information you provided. But yours was better I've been looking at that set of OV cabins up front - but see the outer two have fixed twins, so matching up a date to those two inner cabins may be tricky.

We did it Angel.... we booked for Sept 6, and we are in a Spa Balcony... Cabin 1112, what cabin are you booked in? You are the week after us for your birthday, correct?
We need to meet, if nothing else at least to say hello as you are getting on.
We sailed in 1116 last November and LOVED IT (and I am not even a Spa person).
My friends were in 1112....GREAT CABIN ferrangi!!!
