You will have so much fun.
Too many to choose from.
Catamaran, Sail, snorkel and Beach party- Wonderful
Adventure park, Zip line = Awesome
Shopping, Food, Walking, Swimming
You name it, its there.
All depends on Age, Activity, Desire and money.

My daughter who speaks spanish, took us into town to buy a guitar.
She was 18, I was definetly a tourist, but she did great.
$500 guitar for $150. You can't beat that.

Have Fun.
Bon Voyage,
NancyB

I like Cozumel. Google Cozumel Excursions and you will get a bunch of options. Or you could always choose to do excursions through the boat.

Chankanaab Adventure Park is super nice and offers tons of things to do~snorkeling, ziplining, rock climbing... what the last poster says covers a lot

Have fun!

Default Do you know any cruise lines?

I am a very fussy person but I like to go on a cruise every once in a while. I like detailed care and a range of services. Do you know any cruise lines?

Well your posting on the Carnival board. This is a question that would probably be better suited for the General Info board. I would say all the lines I've sailed on offer "detailed care and a range of services". When you re-ask this question on another board, you should be more specific in what your looking for.

I guess that depends on what your tastes are. Are you a shopaholic? Are you adventurous? Would you rather chill on a beach?

If your up for adventure try the dunebuggies. They were a blast. Here is a mini-review of our excursion:

We start off meeting our guides Migueal and Fito, a couple of funny and informative guides. We then all pile into our open-top dunebuggies. We go for a nice scenic drive down the coast. Or first stop was at what was probably the smallest myan ruin in Mexico (but still important to the area). Our guide gives some good history lessons and then we walk across the road to see some crocodiles. We load back up and head to Punta Sur, a gorgeous beach with nice facilities. They had the largest palapas hut I've ever seen. We donned our snorkel gear and headed into the water for a swim out to the reef. This was quite strenuous and not recommended for weak swimmers. A few people had to drop out early. Once out to the reef you were amazed with some colorful fish and maybe the thickest mass of fan coral that I've ever witnessed. It was one of the best snorkel trips ever.

We returned to the beach for a locally flavored lunch with empanadas and toquitos. While shopping for some souvenirs a thunderstorm moved in and never left. Might I remind you we were in open-top dunebuggies. Needless to say we were about to get wet again. Well, our dunebuggy wouldn't start, even after a couple of pushes from the buggy behind us, so we jumped into the guides buggy. Several more people's buggies died along the way due to the massive amount of rain. They also had to climb into other buggies and leave theirs behind. Riding with the guide was a hoot. Migueal had us in stitches the whole way. We get near the port and the flooded streets were impassable due to a downed powerpole so we made a long detour around it through downtown Cozumel. Migueal said "Watch this, everyone in Cozumel is named Pancho!" and he proceeded to shout "Hey Pancho!" from the buggy and throws an arm out and waves. He was right everyone waved back. Hey told us to try it too and it worked. The ride in the downpour was incredible and I wouldn't change a thing about it, rain and all. We tipped Migueal for our safe return and headed to Carlos and Charlie's with water dripping from us, looking like drenched rats. Our server said " I'll be you waiter, My name is Pancho" and I thought we would die laughing.

We did the dolphin trainer at the Dolphinaris in jan. Well worth every cent. Book directly and save about 80 dollars.

All I can say is that we found Mr. Sanchos Beach via www.cozumel-tours.com and loved it even in the rain. We are repeating our October cruise as a girls' trip mid-May and will go there again. They now have an all inclusive rate for the day: $54 unlimited food and drink and all amenities. Atving etc are not included but the $54 for the food and drink and they have lockes and nice showering facilities and a small infinity pool and there own little shops are well worth it. We can't wait. The fish were swimming around our feet in October. You can get a taxi from the pier to the beach.

I did Chankanaab/Discover Mexico excursion last year and really enjoyed it. The beach club at Chankanaab is very nice and as stated by another poster has a lot to offer. Highly recommend it!
