Carnival Past Guest Question....
I've sailed with Carnival once before, and on that trip of course was my first time but I traveled with a past Carnival guest. Upon arrival, In our stateroom there was a gift basket, and we never knew whom it was from. We've assumed that the gift basket was intented for my room mate because he was a past guest of Carnival; however, we don't know for certain.
My daughters and I are traveling again this June with Carnival, and we were wondering if Carnival does indeed offer these baskets for returning guests. Does anyone by any chance know what, if any, Carnival offers to returning guests?
We've sailed on at least seven Carnival cruises and never received a gift from them. The gift usually comes from a friend that had it sent to you cabin or from your travel agent as a thank you.
As a past guest with a past guest number (you can get that by calling Carnival). You get an invite to the past guest cocktail party. We have never received a gift basket as a past guest. I agree with the previous poster it was probably from the Travel Agent (TA).
My last cruise was booked with a Travel Agent and there were thank you chocolate covered strawberries and champange as a thank you. Different TAs do different things as a thank you.
