Alcoholic beverage coupons/tickets
 

My wife told me she read some where on these boards that Carnival had a drink coupon/tickets that you purchase in advance for alcoholic beverages. Has anyone seen or heard of this if so where can I buy them?

Yes you can buy them on line at carnival.com but I am hearing you can buy Drink of the day coupons on ship at the bar I think ! the drink coupons are 21.25 for 4 coupons.

Yeah, I bought the drink coupons and I love them.... then I have heard recently about the drink of the day coupons... and I have to ask, what's the point of the DOD coupons... you can buy "any" drink with the drink coupon but it seems like you are limited to DOD's with the other coupons. :roll:

Well we bought them in Jan. (DOD card) and it is for ANY DOD or even any premixed drink. The best place to refund them is at the bar outside the casino. You get 5 DOD's for $23 with the first in the "souvenir" cup and the rest in a cup the same size. It worth it if you drink "froo froo" drinks.

They are on carnival.com under Fun Ships under the Shop Gifts and Services in the Specialty Items section. Four coupons for the low price of $21.25, so not too bad. I plan to keep a small supply myself.

No problem. I should also mention that the coupons do amount to a small discount per drink from what I can tell.

You can also get a drinking card too if your going with a group of 30 or more

Okay, I was just on carnival.com(of course I'm on everyday, but that's a whole nuther story) :wink:
Anyway, I only saw the regular bar coupons, I didn't see any DOD coupons. :cry:

Just read a little while ago Carnival has a new drink coupon program. Two different levels for wine, one for coffee, and the foo foo drinks are five on a card, with the first one including the souvenier glass. Trying to find out if you can buy them online. One for Foo Foo's, and several for coffee. Suits me just fine!!

I drink coffee during the day, alcohol at night(so I can stay awake.........caffeine puts me to sleep).

Now that has to be the worst excuse I have ever heard for drinking alcohol.

It was a duplicate.

I have some odd physiological chemistry thing where coffee(a stimulant) and alcohol(a sedative) have the reverse effect on me. I also don't pass out or get hangovers, no matter how much I drink. My metabolism is so high even the olympian gods would have to look up to see it(And yes, this is a metaphor).
