Default Aero Bed?

We have three in a room. I have heard some people say the convertible sofa is fine but other say it's very uncomfortable. None of us want to sleep on it if it's that bad. I read you can ask for a foam top to put on it, but I was thinking of just bringing a twin size Aero Bed. Would this be allowed? Or should I just buy my own foam top for the bed?

My niece slept on the sofabed in the suite we had and she had no complaints at all.

I dubt there would be room for an aerobed in the cabin. You would have to deflate it every night and find a place to store it. Two to a cabin is ok, three is a getting crowded, four is packed!!! Storage space is limited and if you have anyoene like me who spreads themselves out. It won't be easy to find space...

I don't go on the cruise to sleep. I go to have fun...

Plenty of fun will be had, but we need to have a good sleep for the few hours we do sleep. I know space is limited but with the cat 12 there is a little extra room. It would be kind of a pain to inflate and deflate it every day. This is the first time were doing three in a room so we will have to see how it works out. I'm going to stock up on the Breath Right strips(just kidding)

I have never slept on the sofa beds, but a lot of people say they are comfortable. If when you get there the sofa bed is not comfortable, you can ask for a roll away.

We are cruising June 29 in a Cat 11 V cabin with three to the room. We are taking turns every night on the sofa. I figured if I slept on the sofa one or two nights out of the five how bad could it be? I laid down on one last May for about five hours and fell asleep and I need two knee replacements and have a bad SI joint and I was comfortable on it. I did however have a bed at night to sleep on. I will let you know how it is when we come back in July with the three to the cabin sharing the bed and couch every night.

Aerogirl - you don't say whether you are flying or driving to port, but if you are flying that is a lot of weight and space to dedicate to one item.

Ships have rollaway beds. You can ask your cabin steward for one.

No you don't have to order one. Just ask your cabin steward right when you get on the ship, because they might run out of them.
