Hello everyone a few questions about Freedom caribbean 6 niter.....

1. Are there tables for 2 in the dining room?

2. Are you allowed to carry off your own luggage?

3. Is anytime dining offered?

4. What is Fun Patrol that takes place I think in the casino every day?

5. Is there topless sun bathing? (no not for me!! :o Would not want my son seeing anything he should not be seeing

) Would prefer a ship with cruisers that keep their swimwear on....Of course bikini's and Speedos are ok..

6. I see that there is Salsa music played in the Habana bar/lounge. Is the band good? Is there a dance floor at Habana?

7. Any parents that have had kids use the kids program?

That is all the questions I have for now..

Yes

When I was on the Freedom last year, you could carry of your own luggage.

No

What age is you child? There is Camp Carnival for kids up until 11 and the room is huge, there is Circle C for 12-14, and Club 02 for 15-17

That is all the questions I have for now..

When I was on the Freedom, I really enjoyed it.

You also might want to look at the Dream. It looks like it is going to be a pretty cool ship.

You would probably be able to request a table for two.

They do the self debark option.

No anytime dining. Set dining times, latest is at 8 or 8:15 *can't remember*.

I think the Fun Patrol has something to do with the CD's staff and games they play during this time...

Some people argue that there is a topless deck and others argue there aren't. My last few Carnival cruises there has not been one. But if there is, it is on a top deck where kids cannot go and you can't see anything from the lower decks.

No clue about the Habana Bar.

I don't have kids but the kids I have seen in the kids' programs have always looked like they were having a great time.

I heard rumors of Carnival adding anytime dining. But as far as I know they don't have it yet. There is no longer topless sun bathing on the Carnival ships. My nephew used Camp Carnival (he turned 9 on the cruise) and he enjoyed it. However, on are sailing there were on 25 kids on the whole ship. This was a Transatlantic sailing while school was in session. During summer I'm sure there will be a lot more kids. My nephew loved it, cause there was no line for the waterslide. I'm not sure about the Salsa music either, sorry.

I really enjoyed the Freedom. But I agree with Spencercoop, check out the Dream it has a thalassotherapy pool. I'm not sure if they are charging for it through. Does anyone know?

I think I answered my own question. This is on the Carnival site. I wish they would say how much. You can book an inside spa stateroom and get use of the Thalassotherapy Pool. Celebrity Infinity has one and I loved it.

Kat yes I remember Csis son was on the Freedom and enjoyed the program.

I don't see the Dream sailing out of FL in July....Maybe it is in Europe.

It looks like the Dream's first sailing is September 21, 2009 and it's a Mediterranean sailing. So that is not going to work for you. To bad.

Ok I got my answer about the Habana Lounge...The latin band starts at 5pm and there is a dance floor. 8)

We are going on her in Feb 2010,,,We have never sailed with Carnival b/4 so will be looking forward to your review.

Hi Joanne, No I have not booked it yet I will do so by next week still trying to finalize which week in July I will be able to go.

I have only done 1 Carnival cruise awhile back so I consider myself new to Carnival too.

I'll give you the scoop when I get back (pictures and review).

On the life ring, I can make out the Carnival and the Nassau. My best guess is Fantasy or one of it's class.
