Default Carnival Glory Best 1A ?

First time and single cruiser, doing the early saver deal on a 1A cabin.

I've booked cabin 7345 but have been looking at posts that sounds like this is not the better of the 1A cabins. Can anyone make any 1A recommendations from: 8357, 2217, 2201, 6393, 7347. This is for a cruise in 2010 so I am early enough to make a better selection if there is one.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I personally like the ones on the Main and Riviera decks that feature the portholes. Close to everything and not alot of issues getting to your cabin once on board. I am booked in 2217 on the Liberty, a 1A with portholes and a twin sofa.

I had a 1A (2217) on Victory. It was a very good cabin, especially for the price. It has the same layout as what Brad said. Really, though, the cabin shouldn't make a difference, as you'll mainly be sleeping, and changing in ti, with the majority of your time outside of it, like in Vegas.

It appears to me that 7347 is a balcony cabin? Out of the others, I agree with the posters above that my pick would be 2217. I had that cabin on "Liberty" and it was really nice. I think you'd enjoy the little bit of extra room.

The best 1A on the Victory are Cabins 2444 and 2445. They are at the back of the ship, in a quiet location and have two large picture windows that span the length of the cabin.

These 1A cabins book first because there are only two per ship and are wonderful. I enjoyed one of these cabins on the Destiny.

Alas, on the newer ships (post-Liberty), these cabins have been reclassified as Cat 6

When I stayed in these cabins, I had no noise issues at all, cabin was very roomy and had a sleep sofa, 1 twin on the floor and 1 twin in the ceiling. Very nice.
