Default Carnival Pride to Eastern Carribbean - Excursions

Hey all -

We'll be sailing for the first time ever from Baltimore to the Eastern Caribbean on Pride!

We're looking at excursions....anybody that's been on this before have any "stay away from the..." excursions?

That would help:

Grand Turk
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas
Freeport, Bahamas

What's reasonable to pay, too, for these excursions? There's so many of basically the same thing, but such gaps in price in some cases.

If you are looking for beach days you don't need an excursion at Half Moon or Grand Turk. Both places beach is right there as you get off the boat.

Thanks! Grand Turk is 7am -3pm so that's probably a good play!

Beach day is a must!

For Half Moon Cay - I wouldn't plan anything. Just lounging on the beach is great. And they serve lunch at the hut.
For Grand Turk - I would NOT recommend the clear bottom kayak. Couldn't see anything through the bottom (it was all scratched and had water bubbles). But the beach is right there and you don't need to pay.
Just have fun and relax what ever you decide.

Sorry, I can't be much help After 12 Caribbean cruises, the Turks and Caicos is one place we've never been to. We were in Freeport on the 90's (on a land based vacation) and took a day trip to Little Abaco Island (Cay?) which was wonderful for a beach day and snorkeling. I can't remember what we paid but it's bound to be more expensive now. Half Moon Cay is Carnivals private island so you'll have the choice of anything water related but we've never sailed Carnival. Like I said, not much help. But have a great cruise!

Thank you anyways!

Hopefully we won't "plan to" and the good times will fall on our lap, but we most certainly will have a great time.
