We're booked into cabin #9273 Lido deck. Anyone know if the balcony on this deck are private. Our last cruise we found out to late that our balcony was fully exposed to everybody above us. Made it hard to get that all over tan
There is the cabin above you but on one side above you there is a cabin but on the other side above you there is not a cabin.

Thanks everyone for the help, sounds like it will be a nice cabin. On another note: We just grabbed a real steal for next sunday aboard the Freedom. We have cabin #6487 on the upper deck. This is a aft facing cabin. We have never stayed in this area before. Same question, will we be exposed to people above us? or will there be a little bit of roof/shelter over us? Thanks
I've only been on the Glory 5 times but maybe they redesigned it since I was aboard in Jan. I guess if someone has a long enough neck they can peer
around, over or even up and see onto any balcony.
I wouldn't worry about someone seeing you in the buff--who knows--if they do, maybe you'll give them a thrill!!
I understand what you were initially referring to when you said you had a balcony once and it was exposed so people could see down onto it.
I really don't know why some cruise lines do it but they design some of the lower balconies so they are tiered or as I call it " sticking out " and uncovered so they are completely exposed to those above.
The newer Princess ships are that way and you have to be careful where your cabin is if you want privacy--But--the balconies on the Glory are not that way--they are all covered except on the back where they are " tiered," somewhat. You'll be fine--not to worry.
