Carnival bumped me up from inside 4A GTY to Cabin 4122, Main Deck on Legend. This is a Spirit Class ship. I'm sailing out of Tampa, May 24.
Has anyone sailed in any of these cabins before? In checking Carnival's website, cabin 4122 is now Catagory 4F inside. I have an old brouchure 2006-2007 era that shows it to be Catagory 5A outside with French Doors and railing with obstructed views.
Are these cabins 4105 thru 4155, mid ship, Deck 4, main, inside or outside? It makes no difference to me.......just curious.
We just booked a 4A on the Ecstasy. It was originally a 5A. My VP said they have re-classed the 5A's to a 4A, or F. Ours has two portholes, instead of French doors. It really is a good buy, but lower level on the ship. I know we will be happy with ours. If there is a diamond symbol by your cabin that means it has two portholes.
Hope you have a great cruise.

I had cabin 4147 on the Spirit. Yours (4122) will be similar. Basicly it is an outside balcony cabin with no balcony. When you open the curtain there is a railing across the door opening and you have a view of the lifeboat. Still, it is much better than a 4A. We got the cabin as a free upgrade and enjoyed it very much.
Category 4F has french doors that open to an obstructed ocean view. Disabled staterooms 4202, 4203, 4205 and 4207 have a picture window instead of french doors.
Funny this was posted nearly the same time (and independent of) "What ever happened to French Door cabins?".

I got bumped from 4A GTY to 4117 on Legend. It's a GREAT cabin, and I think your 4122 will be just the same. Congrats! You're going to love that cabin, (especially for the price!)
