1A inner/inner cabin E189 on Imagination

Has anyone been in one of these upper/lower berth cabins in the inner hallway on Imagination? If so, I'd love to see your photos of the cabin.

Please email them to michelleailenetrue@yahoo.com

Thanks!

No photos but it's a great cabin. Go for it!! 8)

E181 is my favorite 1A on a Fantasy class if I'm solo. My DD had E189 once, as Scurvy says it's a fine cabin. Didn't take a photo.

Thanks, Scurvydog. I did book this cabin, through the AARP website. I have seen photos of what a 1a inner/inner upper/lower berth cabin looks like, on Sensation, so I will just assume it's the same layout but with Imagination's color scheme. Since it's just me, I will have plenty of room!

I was hoping to get an actual photo and thre aren't any of it on Cruisedeckplans.com.

Sensation in July 2007 was my first "big cruise ship" cruise, with my then 14 year old son, and this will be my second one, a solo cruise. I had hoped to go this year, as I turned 50 in February, but I'll be going in March 2010 at 51 instead.

Hey, is there a Captain's cocktail party on formal night on the Key West/Cozumel itinerary? I saw photos of the Capers online but I don't see that among the activities.

Michelle;

We stayed in U173 on the Ecstasy in Jan. of 08. It is very similar to what you have. I have some pics., but can't get to them at work. I will send you some if you want when I get home. I personally hated the cabin, and that is because of the bunk beds . I was the one sleeping there, and there is not alot of room between you and the ceiling. It would be fine for a solo cruiser. Let me know if you want the pics.

Michelle:

I was in that very cabin (E-189) on my first cruise in 1996. I'll have to around and see if I have any photos, but likely its been refurbished since then. Still its a nice location, as I recall and fairly spacious as cabins go.

Joe, thanks, I would appreciate seeing them if you happen to have them. Seeing the cabin helps build even more excitement into the anticipation!

Gary, Thanks, and this is a solo cruise for me so I will be the only one booked in this cabin, so the upper bunk will be folded up against the wall for the whole cruise. Michelle

Just returned from Holiday where I had a cat 1A cabin. I found it a nice fit for a solo cruiser who is "rarely in his cabin" as the cabin steward stated.

1a cabin

Have stayed in this type room twice. Did not like it when there was two of us in the room. On the cruise I traveled alone..it was fine. Plenty of room for one..plus as others said if you are making the most of your cruise you arent in the room except to sleep for a few hours and to shower anyway.

I had a tiny 1A on Sensation by myself. One twin on one wall, a pulldown on another. On my last solo, I got a cabin with a king bed. It was nicer, but spent no more extra time in the cabin because of it.

Closer to the lobby bar. Seriously, it's closer to stairwell if needed, but on same level for lobby--comes in handy at embarkation and debarkation. Easier to handle bags.
