Coffee is free no matter where you are on the ship.
Ice tea is free, all the juice is free and I think milk also.
I think a soda card for a 7 or 8 day cruise is like 25 or 30
dollars so not sure about a 4 day.
a soda card for a four day cruise I am not sure.
go to carnivals web site and they will have all your answers
there.
The coffee is free on the Lido deck they have speciality coffee shops as well. Someone said to purchase the fountain card once you get in the international water that way it would be duty free. I do not know if this is true just read it somewhere.
It would have to be wouldn't it. After all, none of these ships are registered as American, and the majority of other countries do not tax outside of their territory, so basically there can't be any enforceable tax since in international waters the is no law, technically speaking.
Unless you drink several sodas a day, the price is not worth it to me. We take a box of soda with us on the ship and are happy. One a day supplemented with coffee and tea are enough for us! 8) We also take bottled water due to health problems.
I drink Mt Dew - one in the morning instead of coffee and maybe one later in the day... My husband packed some for me which we kept in our mini frig in our cabin - much cheaper than buying a soda card.
BE ADVISED, I did try to buy a mt dew in Cozumel... guess what? Coke products were all I could find, we were on a MD Mission to no avail... finally settled for a Mello Yellow

Will they take away a 6 pack of 5 hour energy's if they are in my bag?
I was planning on a 12 pack of soda a 6 pack of 5 hour energy and 1 bottle of champagne. Will they let me on with all that. We do have a super suite booked so I think we get VIP boarding or something. Is VIP boarding more linnet on whats in your bag?
Sorry I cant help with your fountain fun card and coffee card, but I have never cruised before and if I can ever help you I will.
I don't see why they wouldn't. The 5-Hour Energy shots aren't available on board and they will allow a 750 ml bottle of any wine and 12 sodas. I picked these up along the way from other posters and the occasional documentary.
