Default Ship Time-Carnival Imagination

Does anyone know if the Imagination sets it's clock to local time or the time for the port of departure?

Every time I've ever sailed "Imagination", they've always remained on Ships Time, (Tampa Time) for the entire cruise. When, and if, you venture ashore, be sure you keep your watch on that time. They say it's a beautiful sight to see the ship sailing off over the horizon, but I don't care to see that sight myself.

Thanks. Needed that to plan an excursion in Mexico.

Does Carnival always keep their ships on Ships Time? If yes, isn't that kind of stupid on some cruises when travelling through many timezones? (for example on a transatlantic cruise)

Would be something of a problem, especially when crossing the date line. From my understanding the captain decides.

Nope, they don't always keep on ships time! I've been on a number of cruises where they DO change the time, and it's always announced a numbr of times, and posted in the Capers etc. There apparently are some cruises, and itinerarys that require the time change. (Obviously, a repositioning cruise across the "big pond" would require time changes.
