Default Video Camera Policy

Does Carnival allow passengers to take their video cameras on deck to make recordings for vacation videos?

Well, I was wanting to make a video that I can show friends and family, and perhaps something for clients who have never been on a cruise before.

They do announce at the big shows in the main showroom that photography and video taping is not permitted.

This is often ignored, however.

I am aware of the show policies. It is the same as any theater and I respect this, as I would not want someone distracting me with a flash at one of my performances.

Heck ya! I do a walk though of the ship with the camera rolling as I walk form deck to deck from front to back. My tour of the Freedom was around 45 minutes!!!

No video can be done in the casino when it is open, but when it is closed on the embarkation, that is fine!!!!!

Feel free to tape the hair chest, marriage game, and any of the other social activities, but if they say the copyright disclaimer then do not.

Enjoy!!!

Obviously. Copyrights must be maintained. I am thinking I might do a mini-documentary of about 30 minutes edited footage.
