DISTANCE FROM AIRPORT HILTON TO CARNIVAL PIER IN MIAMI?

We are flying in the day before for our May 18th cruise aboard Carnival Imagination, and are staying at the Airport Hilton. It's my understanding there's a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel, but does anyone know if there is a shuttle available from the hotel to the Carnival pier?

Or, should we just get a taxi? Anyone have an idea how much the fare might be? It's just the two of us.

I wanted to give you as much time as necessary to prepare a group of us are staying at a hotel also in near the airport for an upcoming cruise and like your hotel they offer the shuttle only from the airport to the hotel.

Our hotel though also offers a shuttle to the pier for a charge of 10 dollars per person.. you may want to call the Hilton and ask if they have a similar program... or even ask how much should a taxis from the hotel to the pier cost.

It about 8 miles to the port. Options, shuttle back to airport and in baggage claim go to Carnival Rep and transfers are 16 per person. (They will just put it on your cabin charge) and take care of your luggage. (be sure to keep your cruise docs and such on your person)

Cab from Hilton at the airport approx 25 plus tip.

You can buy a transfer to the port from Carnival. The Airport Hilton is where cruise air passengers stay!!!!!! There will likely be a fair number of guests who are going to port that same day, so why not jump on the bus with them. The ride is a good 10-20 minutes at least.

I've cruised from Miami a few times and one time we stayed at the airport Hilton the night before the cruise. There were a lot cruise passengers there. The hotel had a shuttle service that took us to the ship the next day. Can't remember how much we paid though.
