Leaving Alaska on Tuesday - for Wednesday depart - bags packed, ready to go and I have 2 bags between the 2 of us!!!!!!!! Packed LIGHT!!!!!!!! Hard to do!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I did it!!!!!!!! I'm ready!! And, my hubby even knows the cupid shuffle now...ready to party!!!!
--- I'll be back all to soon!!! This is the longest I've taken off from work since I started there 29 years ago (9 work days - 13 total with the weekend). I hope they miss me - but unfortunately I know they won't! In any event, the weather according to the weather.com channel looks great. It appears warmer in Anchorage than any other port!!!!! With the weather being in the 50's/40's and 20% chance of rain all over except 60% the day we are in Sitka.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.

Wow am I behind, my wife and I are also leaving Tuesday for the very same cruise and I've yet to get my suitcase out of the closet and my clothes are still all crumpled and dirty. We can't wait either though!
your coming to alaska too from anchorage on the spirit? Cool going!!!!!!! I had to pack early (yesterday) as I'm on call with the hospital ---- and didn't know if i would even be home or not and tomorrow is WILD at work, so wanted to get it over and done with!! Now I wonder if I packed to many winter clothes. Looks like weather will be 50's/40's which is perfect!
Better to have those warm clothes than to leave them behind and need them! Although Alaska can be a lot warmer than people think, we've seen a huge range on a single cruise. T-shirts one day, bundle up the next. Have a great time! Alaska is awesome.
