Belize and snorkeling at Goff's Caye

Has anybody done this recently/ If so, is it worth it ($65 for 3 hrs)? What was provided? Excursion info from Carnival doesn't mention any refreshments, food, etc. Wife and I would like to do this but the cost seems high for what you get. Thanks in advance for any responses

I've never done the ship excursion, but have booked independent operators a few times. Really enjoyed Caye Caulker.

We did it and it was ok, but I didn't think it was worth $65.

I was on carnival valor last week and went snorkeling at Geoffs Key.. I thought it was great!! The water was beautiful... tons of fish only,, no scary stuff. Not the best reef ever but good.. the excursion thru carnival provided water only.. no 'drinks' but on the island you can purchase food/beer/etc.... I thought it was well worth it as we also snorkled in Key West and saw nothing... although we did get free wind and beer on the ride home..
