Default Which cruise??

I have found two cruise I am interested in...
1. 8 day on the Miracle to St Maarten, St Lucia, St Kitts 1/7/10
2. 7 day on the Valor to Grand Cayman, Hunduras, Belize & Cozumel
11/29/2009
The only Island that I have been to is St Maarten....
I do like the days at sea so that not a problem, of course in Jan anywhere is better than OHIO....
Not a big shopper so that is not in my decision making...
I was on the Miracle last Oct, never been on the Valor...

Thanks for your in-put

Sue

Me and the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) have done both these cruises, and in fact we've done the Miracle 8 day twice. LOVE the Miracle, and loved that 8 day cruise. I'd recommend that cruise, although you won't go wrong with either. Do "Miracle", you won't regret it!

We are doing the Legend to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize & Roatan on Jan 24, 2010 with a group come join us. You are so right about being anywhere in Jan is better than here in Ohio! I am in Southern Ohio and we can have some bad weather here, so being on a cruise is a whole lot better!

We just got off the Valor this past Sunday, and we loved it! Here are some of the things we did:

In Grand Cayman we booked with MobyDick tours and went swimming with stingrays and snorkeling. This was our second time booking this tour with them. It was great both times.

In Roatan we went ziplining and to the beach. Ziplining was fun, and you should do it if you have the opportunity.

In Belize we rode ATVs and went cave tubing. We used cave-tubing.com. When walking through the jungle to get to the river they let you eat termites and show you tarantulas and bats.

We ended up in Key West instead of Cozumel, but we have previously been to Cozumel. Last year we rode ATVs there. However, in Key West we just walked around to see some sites and had an easy day. There is a lot of shopping there.

We loved the Valor. It was so much larger than the last ship we cruised on (Carnival Inspiration.) There is so much to do on the ship that we love the sea days as much as the port days. I kept some of the capers and can scan and post them if you'd like.

Just the fact one cruise has an extra day, would be my choice

I too am confused on which cruise to book. We were on Valor in January and did the eastern Caribbean itinerary which included St Maarten. This was the 4th time I was in St Maarten and love it. The Valor is a gorgeous ship. No matter which one you choose you will have a great time.

They both look good to me. I'm with Trip I guess the tie-breaker could be the extra day.

We would do the eight day! That's more time on vacation and on a SHIP!

Just our opinion;

We are going on the Legend in Aug. It goes to the same places as Valor. Also live in Ohio, and we picked the Legend because the airfare to Tampa was much cheaper than Miami and when you are talking four people, the difference really added up.

I'd do the one with the ship you've never been on going to islands you've never seen. That's the main reason I cruise~to see the world

The Valor is my favorite.

Whichever you choose I'm sure you'll have a great time
