Hello,

Just back from Carnival Pride. Don't bother going to terminal early. You can't board until at least 1:30/2 OCLOCK. We got there at 10:30 and had a long wait. Passengers are not rushed off ship at debarkation. We thought it was a great cruise in spite of rainy, cloudy weather and rocking and rolling. I will try to answer any questions you may have. Nice bedding, good food, wonderful crew! Saw three shows and they were very enjoyable. You will have a blast!

Was this out of Baltimore? Any tips would be great. We are doing this in November and are driving there. Do you think the embarkation time will eventually get earlier?

It was out of Baltimore, I have not idea if it will be earlier. My guess is no. Carnival would have to change debarkation set up to get new passengers on earlier. You don't have to be out of your cabin until 11 am.

The debarkation of the last cruise before yours might have been delayed because of someone like "Marilyn". On my 2007 Elation cruise debarkation was delayed a good hour or more. The crew keep calling for Marilyn to report down to immigration. The whole ship was delayed while the crew searched the ship for Marilyn so we could clear customs. So our debarkation was delay and the embarkation for the next cruise was delay. Because of one inconsiderate person. :evil:

I think it is normal for Carnival to have a 2 oclock boarding (as it states in docs). Like I said there is no rush to get you off ship early. In boarding we were zone 2 and the zone numbers went up to 20s. We went early hoping for an early boarding, but it didn't happen. We did meet some of our fellow cruisers while waiting and the time went rather fast. Note, it was cold in the terminal. Have a jacket available. Mine was in checked luggage! Burr.
