Grand Cayman question

Iâ€™ve read that sometimes your unable to tender in to Grand Cayman if the seaâ€™s to rough. My question is a does this happen more often during certain months? Or is it just day to day?

Went April 13, 2008....No problem. Just went May 19th, 2009...No problem.
My friend went April 26th, 2009 and they tendered ashore, but all water
activities were cancelled for the day due to rough seas.

It can happen anytime....when the seas are rough, they sometimes can port on the other side of the island...that happened to us once. GC is really one island, you just never know....

Like Trip said, with Grand Cayman you just don't know from week to week. Chances are in your favor of everything being fine. We went there about 6 times in a row with no problems--then two years in a row we couldn't stop because of rough water.But as said, the odds are that you can make it.

I hope we can tender. Looking foward to the stingrays and the island. Three days at sea is a bit to much.

We are going to Grand Cayman in July. I hope the waters are good then, however I really enjoy sea days so I would be happy even if we were not able to make port.
