Legend May 17th sailing/excursions
Just returned from the May 17th sailing on the Legend and will have to say
it was a "PERFECT" cruise for myself and my 18 year old daughter. It was her 1st cruise and she's ready to go again! Weather and seas were perfect!
We were booked in an interior on riviera deck. The 1st two nights were
terrible because of a loud thumping noise under our beds that left us with no sleep. The crew was unable to find the cause of the noise and were unable to move us due to a full sailing. Upon returning from our excursion on Grand Cayman we were told someone had left the ship and we would be given their balcony stateroom at no extra charge!
The ship was very well maintained and exceptionally clean! The crew treated us like royalty and the cabin stewards were amazing! EVERY time we left the room and came back it had been tidied and cleaned! We were on the anytime dining and the longest we waited was 2 minutes! This was on a FULL ship! We could have private or seat with other people and had the same exceptional service as everyone else.
I booked all of our tours through independent companies that I researched thoroughly. No cattle calls and perfect trips! Nativeway in Grand Cayman, Coral Breeze for Belize and Victor Bodden in Roatan.
I know that there can be "blips" on any cruise, and even though we did
not get to stop in Cozumel, this cruise turned out absolutely perfect for the
1st "Mother/Daughter cruise!
Thank You Carnival Legend Crew! We will be back!
