Comments on Shore Excursion Panama Canal

Any one been on the Ferry Boat going through the Panama Canal? Is the amount of time worth it? Would a 13 year old like this tour?

Yep...I did that tour. And yes, I highly recommend it. We went through 2 of the locks and the Gaylor cut and into the lake. The box lunch wasn't too bad either. I would think most 13 year olds would enjoy this tour.
Unfortunately it is a bit pricey, but my thinking is that we only live once and there is only one Panama Canal.
