As of May 1, you cant transfer booking to a TA after 30 days

I know many on here are looking for the best price, or perk or OBC. As of May 1st, if you book direct with Carnival, you cannot transfer your booking to a travel agent after 30 days.

This is a Carnival policy found only on their website for travel agents.

Good to know Carnival has found a way to rip off us travel agents. The cruise lines seem to be going the way of the airlines these days.

If that's true then Carnival reneged on the terms I agreed to when I booked. It's a fact that when I booked Splendor 2010 that I told the line that I would likely transfer booking to my travel agency. They reassured me no problem.

It seems to me this is a way to keep more of their bookings away from travel agents so they do not have to pay commissions to those travel agents.
