Are the Cozumel [b]stingrays [/b]fun?

Has anyone ever done the swimming with stingrays thing in Cozumel? Did you enjoy it?

My son and daughter-in-law swam with stingrays over in the eastern Caribbean. He liked it, but she didn't like being pushed around.

I bought a glass stingray to give to my son for Christmas, then realized the look my mechanical engineer would suppress before he said, "Uh, thanks, Mom." It's beautiful, and I kept it for myself to symbolize the pleasure the kids had cruising....and now I'm determined to swim with those big gray things myself.

The thing is, I'm scared I'll be sorry I got myself into such a mess...I really don't like being pushed around physically...and I had to train my Labs to respect my space. What do you think, oh veteran cruisers?

I did the stingrays in Grand Caymens in 2008 and just did it again this
May with my 18 year old daughter(her 1st). We also did it in Cay Caulker
Belize and it was AWESOME! These are free stingrays (not penned) but are
used to interacting with humans. Very gentle and friendly. I have never done
the one in Cozumel, but would expect it is much the same. I would recommend this to anyone that loves the sea and whats in it! Have fun! Happy Sailings!

I did the stingrays in Grand Cayman too. The stingrays were more than a lot of fun and this was one of my favorite excursions ever.
