Some folks have that reaction,,,,most don't. It'll go away soon, so don't fret. The more you cruise, the less likely you'll have "sea legs" after you get home. (Just another reason to book again,,,,and book quickly. )
I'm lucky that didn't happen to me. The only physical reaction I had after my first cruise in 07 was a desperate desire, while standing in the customs line, to turn around, get back on board and stow away for the next cruise! I would have been willing to sleep on a deck chair! I had to have my son hold me back!
I don't get car sick, seasick, or home sick. I do get cruise sick. I need another cruise to cure it. However, your review will help me. I'm glad you enjoyed your first cruise.

Yep, it happens and it has been posted all over these boards. I almost always have to continue my dramamine for a few days after I get home. However, it is a small price to pay to be able to keep cruising.

It gets easier each time.
The first 2 times I struggled to lose my sea legs...I swayed and rocked for a day or two. Dramamine helped.
Just a few weeks ago I barely felt it after a rocky trip on the Holiday.

While in the Coast Guard, we sometimes stayed at sea for 45-60 days. I always had feelings of motion after we returned. But no worse than a 7 day cruise. It's not that bad, and goes away quickly.
