Hey there! Just back from the fascination last Monday - it was my first cruise.
Well - the first night was a little rough - there was quite a bit of rocking... merely b/c we were going around that tropical depression or whatever it was. After the first night - it was perfectly fine. We did take a dramamine before we got on the boat for a "just in case"effect. The captain did all he could to go around the stormy weather. No worries! Now on the way back from Freeport - we had to make an emergency stop near the keys to unload a sick passenger. No one knew exactly "what" they were sick from... rumor was chest pains. The only reason we even knew we were making a pit stop - was that we were in the casino and they made up stop gambling b/c we came closer than 14 miles inland to shore.
The casino was great! It had almost any game that you could think of. My mom and my aunt spent most of their time in there. Between the both of them - they prob won about 1,000 bucks. Me and the husband - lost about 400.... lol But we haven't learned when to "get out". 8)
We had such a great time - we are planning a trip back - prob on the same boat - same trip. There was so much that we didn't get to do....
