gambling on alaska cruise

what is the age you can gamble on the alaska cruise. is it 18 or 21 i think its 21 because of the waters. could someone tell me thanks.

I think Carnival sticks with 18. Alaskan law says 18.

I would think you couldnt gamble while in Alaska as you are in American waters. Not sure if they are ever 12 miles out from land. Is there some sort of exception that lets people gamble on board the ship?

The casinos are open in Alaska , when the ships aren't in port.


On Hawaiian cruises they are not (though they used to be.. not sure what's changed).
