Default TRIUMPH REVIEW

We sailed from norfolk, to nassau and then freeport oh yeah and return Ship is good shape doing rugs etc, food good, plenty of it. The cruise director leaves alot to be desired. 5th cruise on carnival also the lowest rating of the 5. NOT A DISGRUNTELED CRUISED

He left a lot to be desired and was sure he was the BEST.... NOT!

We took the one out of Charleston but I would rate it as one of the best cruises I've been on.... crew was great, Food the best... the only thing was we have been to Nassau/GBI so many times... would have loved a new port.

My last cruise was aboard "Triumph", and I thought it was one of the best I've ever had,,,except,,,Jorge! I agree,,he's one of the worst C.D.'s I've ever seen! He certainly didn't ruin the cruise, but it could have been even better with a good Cruise Director.

I was on the Triumph last year and I think it had some of the best food of any Carnival cruise we have been on. I don't really care about the cruise directors, we just don't watch that much entertainment on the cruises anymore it's more about relaxing and the casino for us.

did they have a 'soup' bar? I missed the soups on this last cruise. Can't remember which one I went on that had different soups on the Lido every day

I completely agree!!! Best food every on Carnival... with 7 cruises on them. As for CD... his horrible "infomercials" on the lido big screen and other things made him known to me but not in a "good" way. I usually could not tell you who the CD was on any cruise, but this was so bad that it stood out. WOW!!! was he bad.

How often do the cruise directors change ships? We are going July next year on the Triumph. Our last CD was TEX he was great. I will keep my fingers crossed that we get a better CD.

Did not ruin anything... almost funny he was so bad. Watched him on the the cabin tv and was amazed and the bad "acting" and comedy... I must admit he is the only CD in many cruises that I know his name... lol

I agree the CD does not make the trip for me. But it is nice when you have a really good one like TEX was. But I am not going on a cruise to see the CD anyway.

I sail on Triumph out of NY in just 44 days.

I agree, the CD doesn't make the cruise.....YOU do, and I intend to have a blast on yet another Carnival FUN Ship!!

Tell how you like the trip. I love feedback ! Exactly what to pack....that would be good advice. From what I understand, it isn't like a Caribbean cruise=leave the shorts at home. Then again July and September could be quit different.
As for cruise directors, they don't mean that much to me.

Will do. I usually prepare a review with some substance to it and post it in the Readers Reviews section.

I'll be sailing in late July so the temps should be near 80 in the day and cool off a bit at night. Living in Florida, I've become accustomed to wearing shorts all year long, even when it's cold so I should be ok.
