GREAT choice IMO. I'd really like to see that happen.

Good voice yes but shes a flash in the pan and she seems to be neurotic with her temper and personality. To be a godmother you need to be around for awhile and shes in the middle of her 15 minutes. Nuff said!!

Yeah like in an industry first, Tinker Bell christened Disney Wonder in 1999.

Check out the lists of past godmothers on cruise ships. Many stand up to your "must be around awhile" but many are here today gone tomorrow.

I think Susan would be a great choice. I think she has a wonderful voice and the song is a perfect match. She is going to be around for awhile. Just not in the same way as many pop stars.

You're absolutely correct! Isn't it amazing how beautiful some of the music from theater is, that we seldom hear? I absolutely love "This Is The Moment", from Jekyll & Hyde. WOW, what a powerful, and beautiful song!

On the Legend in 2006 I purchased a CD from one of the production singers....Jason French. He sang "this is the moment" and Les Miz's "empty chairs", among other things.
Then the darn thing got scratched!
Susan Boyle being an underdog must have caused many to make comparisons to Fantine....the character who sang the "dream" song in Les Miz.

What a terrific choice that would be!

Suppose they could play it on the PA during sail away?

When we were in Venice they played Pavarotti all the way down
the Grand Canal - wow, I still get goose bumps thinking abou it.
