good for you, I felt the same way.... first I book our timeshare for our trip on the way down.... then I had to wake a week and then book another day for on the way back....
Yes, it's very exciting....
We just got back a week ago from our Valor cruise. Had a GREAT time and hope you do to! Have fun!
Irish Ferries Jonathan Swift June 16, 2006 (Dublin, Ireland)
Irish Ferries Ulysses June 17, 2006 (Holyhead, Wales)
Carnival Facination August 4, 2008 (Key West USA & Cozumel, Mexico)
Carnival Valor June 14, 2009 (Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize & Key West USA)
I couldn't agree more. I like planning cruises because things happen in stages:
paid in full
airfare (for me, I found a great price going down, but held off on the return for a while)
shop for a nice hotel (I always get one close to a supermarket so I can stock up on wine/goodies)
airfare again (finally found a cheap return ticket)
...and then I usually spend my non-planning time checking for cheaper pricing (which I was able to find and take advantage of) and excusions.
LOVE IT. I have 51 days left

I love it, I love it, I love it. I love planning our trips and seeing how everything just comes together. I'm almost done with our upcoming cruise:
1. Two cabins paid in full.
2. Airfare for my best friend who lives in Utah paid in full.
3. Airfare for my mom and my son flying in from San Juan paid in full.
4. Hotel paid in full
5. Disney Tickets paid in full
6. Arabian Nights tickets for 3 people paid in full
7. Shore excursion in Nassau (I still have to pay for my mom and my son)
I still have to tie some loose ends, but everything's almost done.
Actually, our excursion in Nassau is the Atlantis Beach Day. It's already paid for and I can't wait. I've never been to the Bahamas and spending a day enjoying Atlantis, its beach, its water park and the food is too enticing and I can't wait.
Well here I am 1 week until I cruise Inspiration. We leave on Sunday to Tampa to meet up with one of our cruisers. I just did a rough draft of packing my suitecase making sure everthing fit. I told myself I wasn't going to overpack but it's looking like I did . Oh well as long as my suitecase is under 50 lbs I won't have to pay extra. We booked this cruise October 2008, so long ago but now it's almost here!!
