Bloggers cruise from Galveston???

On Johns website a letter was posted....

How about doing a Bloggers Cruise from Galveston. Maybe on the refurbished Ecstasy?

Just as I have never sailed to Alaska, I have never sailed from Galveston. We certainly had a brilliant Bloggers Cruise on the Carnival Fantasy so why not the Carnival Ecstasy. We need to decide quickly now as I know many of you want to book for 2010 and I will certainly ask the powers that be to consider the Carnival Ecstasy a ship I have not been onboard since 1994...."

Sooooo.....who here wants to go ??!!!

I would.

It would be better on the Conquest though. I doubt they would choose Galveston unless there was a press announcement about some Carnival changes. That of course is very possible. Maybe they will announce the Magic is coming.

Several folks have asked him on the blog about the rumours of Galveston being the port for Magic. He remains quiet on the subject.

Altho we have not been on Conquest yet, I would agree that it would be a better choice than the Ecstasy. We have sailed her a few times. She is a nice ship but the Conquest is supposed to be improved.
