No, you won't see much of him after the first day...
First time we cruised, boys were 14 and 10 and the 14yr was complaining he was going to be bored, it would be full of old people, there would be nothing for teens to do- after the first night when they went to the teen club and then started hanging out at the basket ball court and met lots of other teens they LOVED it and were in tears when we had to come home.
Though I'm not a teen, I've cruised Glory during the summer months and there are plenty of teens to go around. There's plenty of children, plenty of elderly, plenty of middle-aged etc...Carnival is pretty versatile with the crowds it draws so tell your teenager to take a chill pill
I hope you have a great time!

If I remember correctly, the Glory holds around 3,000 passengers. Odds are very high that there will be plenty of other teens on board. The number will vary by time of year and school holidays, etc., but I'm sure he will meet plenty of new friends. I haven't been on the Glory in a few years, but the pizza area at the very back of the Lido Buffet always seemed to have teens hanging around. Some of them seem to live on pizza!!
My sister is 14 and she was in Circle C and LOVED it! We always sail off season so we are always short on teens as there were only like 40 from 13-18 but during the summer I promise there will be plenty =) Just be sure he goes to the meet and greet the first night for Circle C thats the most important night of going! And get him on the teen forum as well there may be some other teens on there going on that sailing, and if he has any questions our veteran teen cruisers will be more than happy to assist =)
