Your Favorite Beach????

I just got back from my first cruise and really enjoyed cabbage beach in Nassau, Bahamas.

The sand was different than what I am used to but the BLUE water is what I fell in love with!

The water in Key West was pretty as well but we did not go to a beach there to swim.

Please list in order your favorite beaches and tell us why they are your favorites (i.e. sand, water, privacy, size, etc.).

Any of the private islands, such as Half Moon Cay and Great Stirrup Cay. Incredibly clear blue water, tons of colorful fishies if you snorkel, and great sand beaches....sigh. I am so ready to go.

Will still say Megans Bay in St. Thomas is my favorite Carribbean beach and most travel magazines places this beach in the top 10 everywhere.

I like the beach in Costa Maya. Not that it is the best beach in the world, but it is very quaint and comfortable. We loved this port for two cruises in a row and really enjoyed going to the beach and staying at Pez Quadro.

Princess Cays where the water was crystal clear that you can see the sand below your feet. Never seen any other beach like it.

#1....Orient Beach in St. Maarten, beautiful sand, water, water sports, facilities, restaurants, lounge rentals w/umbrellas

#2....Tabyana Beach in Isla Roatan, good snorkeling right off the beach, powdery white sand, crystal clear water, massages on the beach, tiki bar, buffet lunch, fresh water showers, live entertainment, clean restrooms

#3....Prickly Pear Island in Antigua...secluded, snorkeling, rum punch, gorgeous water, friendly people

We loved Trunk Bay-St. John
A beautiful beach, great snorkeling, and super clear water. We could have stayed forever! This is our overall favorite! Kids loved it!

Also enjoyed-Tabyana Beach-Roatan, Honduras-fantastic snorkeling right off shore-

Great Stirrup Caye and CoCo Cay Private Islands in the Bahamas-both had good snorkeling-had to swim further off shore, but overall a beautiful snorkeling day at a beautiful beach. Saw huge grouper, and beautiful trunk fish! 8)

Beautiful beaches in Montego Bay, Jamaica
I think I'll try MrSanchos in Cozumel next week..

Joemo,
Wow, I feel like a dunce. Clearwater Beach and others around here really are spectacular. I live here, can take a bus to the beach, but once I get my head in cruise mode, I forget about anything here. Having a "DUH" moment.

montego bay, jamaica

:D doctors cave beach - cheap to get to by taxi from the dock, secure pay to enter beach, cheap to rent umbrella and lounger. Great food, great beer (red stripe), wonderful beach and you can see the ship.

we loved all of our carnival Conquest experiences in feb 08 but this place kept a piece of our hearts. Even the ganga seller was discrete and polite!

I'd have to agree. Megan's Bay in St. Thomas. It is always listed in Top 10's. Beautiful views and nice sand.

I loved the variety of beaches in Bermuda, rather than just one specific beach. Some pink, some white, some high waves and some calm. Differing scenery too.

Beach in Cannes, France was Amazing! Gold flecks glistening everywhere like you were swimming in $$$$.
