I was just on an online TA website and noticed a Carnival Onboard Savings booklet which is available if you booked with them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is in this booklet?
This books usually contain discounts on items like spa services, maybe a free drink or drink discount.

How do you get this booklet? I have never seen it.
I saw a couple of TAs offer to through this in when I looked at a cruise through CruiseCompete early this year. It must be something Carnival provides TAs (or sells to them) to help them lure business or "reward" certain customers. Looking at the list provided below it doesn't bear much value for me.

It is a wonderful way for the ships to get you in the shops.
On our last cruise, we had around 30 people for our roll call meeting. One of the people had the booklet, and allowed us to go through it to get out what we could use. We had a good laugh over what was actually offered.
After everyone went through it, there were still coupons left.
Yeah, sadly I will probably throw it away; maybe I'll use the martini one. Otherwise, it was a big fat diaapointment. As it pours rain today in Buffalo, my 36 day countdown cannot go quick enough...coupons or not

Okay, so if there is anyone out there who finds value in this book (aside from the martini coupon), let me know and I will be willing to mail it to you.

I would use: the purchase an entry into any ocean players club tournament and receive a 2nd tournament entry FREE. If that it could be used for a slot tournament. I like slot tournaments a half of hour of play for me and my hubby at one price. Sounds good.

Oddly enough, I just threw one of these booklets away, as we've been carrying it around for a couple of years, and only used one or two of the coupons. As close to Totally Worthless as you can get IMO. Oh well, I guess I got it free anyway.
I HAD 2 COUPON BOOKLETS & ONLY USED A DRINK COUPON OUT OF THEM...PRETTY WORTHLESS...UNLESS, OF COURSE, YOU ARE DYING TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE THOSE "TOWEL CREATIONS" THEN THAT 15% OFF WOULD BE A REAL BARGAIN!
Looks like it's mostly the free photo and the drinks (buying anyway) that are decent. Otherwise, you'll get similar discounts from the spa and casino from the info they put in your room anyway.
While I think the cruise lines giving us something is a nice thing, I think alot of thought goes into coming up with a booklet, that as we can see by this thread, most people are not interested in hardly anything that's offfered...
"IF" they really gave us what people wanted most onboard, they would lose revenue.....

I'd rather be offered one or two coupons that hold some value to me than to receive an entire book of garbage but oh well. Someone actually asked me if they could have the whole book so I'm happy to be sending it to them. As they say, one man's trash in another man's treasure!

I would ask someone if they could spare a booklet, however, it would take up room in my purse, carryone case and I would probably throw it away anyway. too much trouble.
