Where in the Med are you cruising, and what part of October? My guess is that it can still remain pretty warm, especially if you mean early October and you are in the South. But Venice and Dubrovnik, or Florence, can start to get cool early.
Bring sweaters and a windbreaker just in case.

After cruising the Med last year in late September we then spent the first 11 days of October just outside of Rome. The weather was very nice...low 60's overnight but warming to the low 70's by mid-morning. We went into Rome each day and would start off wearing light jackets but before noon they were in our knapsack. Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks a lot, big help. We are cruising in the beginning of October from Rome and will call on Venice, Dubrovnik and Barcelona. So I guess a sweater and a jacket will be needed.
Will you be on the Dream, by any chance? We are cruising on it Oct. 15- Nov. 12. (Med./Transatlantic) You can check the high and low temperatures by clicking on the names of the ports you are visiting.
