Ihave been checking to see if our cruise goes down in price. Well our cruise in April 2010 keeps going up. Twice now in $20 increments. Geezzzzzz I was hoping for a price drop and I get the opposite. Anyone think it will go down yet. Why would it go up now?? I am so confused. I understand our rates are locked in but I just was hoping for the drop in price.
I have to agreee. We are booked on the Miracle departing on
August 28, 2009. Booked on April 1st - did not use Early Saver due to health issues. I have checked every week to see if the price dropped. I am happy to report that the price has gone up $440 per person since booking on April 1st. Glad I didn't hesitate - but I too, don't understand the reason for such a steep price increase. I guess it's "what the traffic with bear".
This allll depends on the economy. Never say never. Just keep watching.
So much is going on in our country that day to day you never know what will happen.
Remember, Carnival has to fill these ships. If people stop buying, then the prices will go down. No one is ever locked in. If you are beyond final payment, then your credit will be applied to your on board credit.
BUT...... It is up to you to keep an eye on things.
All the ones we booked went up at different times. I was looking last week and didn't book and we booked it today and it went up 40.00 even for the early saver. I guess it pays to jump on it when you see it low priced.
