Default Couple of Questions.........

We are leaving Sunday the 9th on the Legend and after many cruises have our first balcony. Should we really take a bungi cord to keep the door open or is there another way to prop it open when we are out on the balcony?

Also, I had heard they no longer give you a pin at the past guest party. True?? Can you purchase them in the gift shop or are they a thing of the past??

Thanks..........looking forward to getting out of Ohio!!!!!!!!

Sometimes the doors have a thing that holds the door, but not often. They don't want you to leave it open because of the air conditioning.

We take a cord, but in a pinch, you can prop with a chair.

I am told that if you go to the pursers desk, they might still have pins, for the asking.

We just received pins on the Inspiration. Leaving the door opened made the cabin so hot and humid.

CRAP!! I'm sailing on LEGEND in October and looking forward to collecting my 5th pin. Can anyone else weigh in here on the pin issue...

We were on the Fantasy last August which was our second cruise with Carnival and the pin was in our room along with the invitation to repeat guest party. At this time in 14 days, we'll be on the Conquest. We'll find out what our pin situation is... I sure hope it doesn't change.

See cabin stewert for pins, they leave them on your bed. We never have had pins given out anywhere else.

The pins are being phased out fleet wide. Once they run out, then that is it.

John Heald is suppose to be announcing soon what Corporate is going to do about it as they were surprised with the uproar about the pins going away. It looks like they are going to be offered for sale in the gift shops. We are pushing that they make all ships available in the gift shop to include ships no longer in the fleet. That way you can purchase pins that you are missing without have to book a cruise on that ship.
