Default After arriving at destination...

How long does it take to get off ship? We arrive at Nassau at 12 it says and shops close at around 6 from what I read. We wanted to see atlantis, cable beach and do some shopping.
Thanks

It doesn't take long at all. Walk to the end of the pier and grab a cab. its only $2 to Atlantis.

Like Dina says, Nassau is pretty quick getting off, and the pier is close to lots of stuff you'll want to do. Six hours isn't very long to be there, but you should be able to get most everything done that you like. Just be careful to WATCH THE TIME! Don't miss the ship!

Thanks for your help! The ship doesnt actually leave til the next morning but the shops from what I read close around 6pm. We wanted to make sure we were able to do the activities before shops closed. How long does it take do you think to actually disembark the ship at nassau?

Don't miss John Bull or Coles of Nassau, on Front st.......John Bull, is the prettiest store in the Caribbean, and Coles is a great little ladies boutique.I also found an unusual Italian lucite pendant in Solomons Mine.

Nice shops of course in Atlantis..I bought a handbag I saw there, the shop for less...

My cab ride was not $2.00 though, and, that was years back, but it's a quick ride..enjoy!

Thanks for the reminder. We have been a couple of times before to Nassau but we were there all day so this seems so short of a time. I didnt even look at the times in port when I booked it or would have looked at another cruise. It is really about bartering at the strawmarket and like you said not buying at the first place you see something. We are taking my grown children and 2 grandsons that have never been. It will be fun watching them there.
