my neighbors who are New Orleans Saints season tickets holders, are not going to the pre season opener tonight at the SuperDome..He actually donates his pre season tickets to a little league team that he coaches, and they raffle them off to raise $$$ for equiptment
I have learned over the years to survive a long NFL season, I don't watch pre season games, I wait until the regular season starts
do you watch your favorite NFL team in the pre season or attend a game in person ? when it's mid season and they are out of the playoffs, do you still watch them week over week ?
Well Venice I am, unfortunately, a Chiefs fan. It has been painful enough to watch them during the regular season, so the pre-season is too much to bear. I watched them last year every game until I knew it was hopeless. Usually by half-time it was obvious the outcome. I never get to go to a game so just watch on TV. I hope this year it is a bit more bearable. A 2 and 14 season is hard to take. We have a whole new team, and front office, so there is a bit of hope

I have seen more than one shouting match at the lido pool bar when different folks want to watch different football games. It usually comes down to the biggest crowd (or) bartenders choice. Leaving at noon tomorrow (8/15) to make the drive to K.C.. The preseason tickets come in the package. (sigh)

The NFL is the only sport we watch in our house....
I am a junkie.
I watch EVERY Pre-season game on the NFL network. (I mostly pay attention when the starters are in, after that it is backround noise as I surf the net. Right now, the 4th quarter of the Jets/Rams is on)
I watched all 3 of Thursday nights games yesterday and the first half of the Jets/Rams live on CBS NY.
I tivoed 3 or 4 games overnight (including my Broncos and my Wife's Colts) which we will watch this morning after she gets up.
Once the season starts we have the Sunday Ticket.
We watch every Bronco and Colts game, plus every other game that intrests us.
We usually cruise each September, but since I am guaranteed my Broncos game, since the ships all show Denver stations, it works out OK.
(My Wife's Colts play on MNF during our cruise this year. )
If we cruise in January/February we schdeule it around the playoffs.
(this year we are on a 5 day, that leaves the Monday after the wildcard round, will be back, before the next weekends playoff games)
