Default Dining room dress code on non-Elegant nights?

What do you consider to be acceptable for men on non-Elegant nights?

I'm planning to wear slacks but is a nice short sleeve shirts or golf type shirts acceptable?

1.5 days until I the Conquest!!! Yes, I'm packing and wondering what to pack

A nice pair of khaki shorts and a Hawaiian print shirt. I love the new dress code that Carnival has.

Happy Sailing
